MOH has issued a further update on additional precautionary measures on 3 Mar 2020, advising Singapore residents to defer all travel to Hubei Province, and avoid non-essential travel to affected areas including Mainland China, the Republic of Korea (South Korea), Japan, northern Italy and Iran. 

As part of our efforts to ensure a healthy and safe school environment in light of the COVID-19 situation, this is a gentle reminder to declare your child/ward’s travel plans over the March holidays by 10 March.

To ensure the well-being of all our students and staff, the school has stepped up our precautionary measures for COVID-19. To minimise the congregation of students, staff or parents in large numbers, the following programmes and events, as well as all learning journeys in Term 1 are cancelled or postponed until further notice.

In addition, the school has cancelled all weekly mass assembly programmes and large-scale student activities. CCAs with large enrolment will also be conducted in multiple venues to reduce the group size.

In light of the recent developments in the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in Singapore, the P2 Learning Journey to Chinatown for 2Brave and 2Resilient on 5 February will be postponed. 

The P3 SwimSafer Programme will also be suspended till further notice. In place of the swimming programme, your child will continue with Physical and Health Education lessons during curriculum time.

Aligned with the precautionary measures for 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) announced by MOE to minimise the congregation of students in large numbers.

The 2020 JSA Selection Trial will now be postponed until further notice.

The Primary 5 students will be embarking on a 10-hour Code For Fun programme. This coding programme is a national initiative to increase primary school’s students exposure to basic computational thinking and making concepts. Students will also experience hands-on coding, computer-science unplugged activities, coding challenges and working collaboratively in groups to design a project.
