Family Matters@ School
The Family Matters@School
(FMS) is supported by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) to
provide parents with access to family life programmes that enable them to
better connect with their children.
Working closely with the HOD CCE and School Parent Support Group (PSG), the FMS coordinator at NAPS organizes various family life programmes that equip parents with skills to nurture family relationships.
Each year, parent workshops/talks and parent- child bonding activities are organized. The parent workshops cover topics relating to parenting styles, communication, behavior management, personality profiling, understanding love languages & learning styles and family finances, etc.
We are indeed delighted that more parents are aware and enthusiastic in participating in FMS activities.
To grow parents as supportive partners in school, we will need to equip them with relevant knowledge and skills to enrich and strengthen their family life, foster better parent-child relationship and equip our pupils with positive values and attitudes towards family, relationships and life.
Come, join us soon!
